Biltong has been a premier South African meat snack for centuries. At West Coast Biltong we've been crafting small batches for 4 years. Our USDA Choice Grade top round beef is prepared using our generation's old West Coast of South Africa recipe, then air dried over a number of days using our secret blend of ingredients. Along the way our blend of spices transforms the beef into a full flavored beef snack that is changing the way our customers see jerky and meat snacks in general. Our Biltong offers an alternative that's both tasty, softer and chewy, without any greasy marinades or syrups.
Our Biltong is designed for the American palate, requiring a more flavorful and robust profile, and that's just our Original flavor. Our product is known as wetter Biltong, as opposed to dry. The aging process has been designed to continue while in the package. This results in a flavor profile that mellows over time, achieving the different notes of it's spice rendering much like that of a good bottle of red wine.
    Our current flavor offerings are:
Original - the original beefy Biltong flavor you all love, except with a deeper ingredient body, and a surprising smoky texture.
Black Pepper - the Original flavor, but with an emphasis on a smooth fine Black Pepper, which builds to a spicy finish.
Spicy Jalapenos - again starting with the Original, this variety has a softer Jalapeno profile which also builds to a crescendo that reminds you that, while it is considered a milder pepper, it can punch you in the face if you're not careful.
Hot Chili - also starting with the Original, but this twist brings a blended Chili spice to the fore. Too much of this and you will need more than a glass of milk.
