I found a modest replacement shade that a talented artist could embellish the frosted glass dome shade. Please study ALL photos as they are part of this items description.

    Description

    French Yellow and White Blown Glass Swirl
    Glass Base Lamp
    in the style of Daum Nancy glassworks
    .
    Metal bracket with engraved leaf shaped decorative ends.  The glass base has blow indentations so the electric cord can clear any side you need it.  The bulbs are original.  Note there are TWO. One in the Yellow swirl glass base and one in the top under the shade.  You unscrew the 3 bolts in the metal shade rim to pull out the interior light bulb when it needs replaced.

    Modern Contemporary, guessing 1970's but I really don't know. The electric plug end is two same size metal plugs, so not too modern as then theplus would be the safety style plugs with one wider than the other.  Original owner said they purchased it in France. The shade was broken before they could get it back to the states so they said it had sat in their closet til their moving sale.
    Made in France- Note the French Electric light label.
    Size is 15 1/2" Height x 6 3/4" across the replacement shade x 5 inch across the base.
    Weighs over 4 lbs on it's own. With the lamp shade it will ship in a larger carton which UPS and Priority mail bills shipping by the size and NOT the weight.
