Victoria Austria Royal Vienna Style Classical Cherubs Clouds Cobalt & Gold Plate
Very pretty scalloped edge porcelain dessert plate. Nicely decorated in the Royal Vienna style with a classical scene in the center of a male and female cherub in blue and white clouds. With a gold gilt overlay border along the inner rim of the plate. The border of the plate itself is a deep cobalt blue with fancy gold gilt overlay, with white along the very edge with gold gilt overlay. Marked Victoria Carlsbad Austria on the back in blue. This mark was used by Schmidt & Co between 1891 and 1918.
Has some wear to the gilding, but no chips or cracks.
Measures approximately 7 3/8 inches wide.
