Gutherz Hand Painted Signed M. Paeldock Red Floral , Black Berry Bowl 1920 - 45
Very pretty porcelain bowl. Nicely hand painted in the Pickard style with an iridescent sheen on the inside of the bowl. The outside of the bowl is painted ivory with a border of small black berries, red and green flowers, and gold gilding along the edge. Signed in black on the bottom by the artist, M. Paeldock. Also marked in green EPIAG Royal Cecho-slov. EPIAG was an association of various porcelain companies. This particular mark with the word Royal was probably used by Oscar and Edgar Gutherz, between 1920 and 1945.
Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
Measures approximately 5 3/4 inches wide x 2 5/8 inches tall.
