Description: This Butter Dish is in excellent condition. I see no  cracks, stains, repairs or utensil marks. It stands 4 1/2" high with the cover on. It is 6 7/8" across the top handle to handle. The gold trim on the handles is not worn, that's the way it was made. It come with an insert that goes inside the dish that the butter sets on.It is hallmarked on the bottom. The hall mark is hard to read, it's the same as all the other Carlsbad dishes that I have listed. This hallmark is reported to have been used by Bawo & Dotter from 1884 until 1913 when their Fischem, Austria factory closed. This is an beautiful piece of china that would go well with other china that has pastel colors. I have an lot of this pattern to list, please look at my other items. It's all in great condition for being over 100 yrs old. Any light spots are from the overhead lights or the camera flash. Please look at the pictures and ask any questions. Thanks
