    DESCRIPTION:
(after the description there are many more photos, look at them all)
Spectacular, very rare blown and acid-treated glass vase made by the very famous and very important French manufacture of the Daum Brothers of Nancy. Just signed Daum Nancy and complete with the cross of Lorraine. The decoration, obtained by treating the glass with acid, consists of a lake landscape with trees. This procedure was carried out by covering the vase with various layers of pitch, placed in order to obtain the desired decoration, then treating the vase with acid, which consumed the glass where more where less, where for nothing, and therefore the bas-relief decoration was formed and with shades of color from the deepest red, bordeaux, to medium red up to even orange. The red color of the blown glass is obtained by mixing particular oxides in the glass, and usually the red and amber glasses are the most valuable. The vases of the Daum Brothers are among the most quoted and in demand among all the European manufactures of the early 1900s. Numerous and important auction results, such as those that we put at the bottom taken from Art price, not to mention the vases proposed on 1stbis at very high prices. We are talking about € 50,000, 66,000 both more expenses, sold at auction, of over € 73 thousand requested on 1st bis, and always on 1st bis there is a vase very, very similar to ours, but slightly lower and much narrower, therefore on the whole, not even half of ours, as a total volume, for which almost 26,000 euros were asked and now discounted if they ask for well over 16,000 euros. If it gives me so much, our vase should have a value ranging from a minimum of 25,000 euros to 30 - 35,000. The beauty of the vase is beyond question, with a color that will leave you breathless, from an ocher yellow of the upper part to all shades of red and orange, from the darkest to the brightest. The beauty of this work can be appreciated even more by illuminating the inside of the vase, as you can see from the photos. In fact, for those who buy it, my advice is just to put a light inside, the effect will leave you breathless, so imagine it on your furniture! The consistency of the external surface remains rather creamy, compact but slightly more elastic than the usual glass, completely porous and rough, the strong acid treatment necessary to obtain the final decoration is clearly felt. Glass is also very thick and heavy, much thicker than blown Murano vases and even Gallé vases, for example.
The vase is perfect, it does not present the slightest chipping or lack of any kind, no stains and not even the smallest scratch !! Absolutely perfect. Only a very delicate but evident patina due to age which makes it even more beautiful! Even for these "perfect" conditions, it deserves to be auctioned, but our commercial policy is to offer all our goods to our customers, precisely because our primary objective is to consolidate an important and vast clientele. Today as today, in our opinion, this is the greatest value for a merchant: his clientele. By bringing our objects to the auction houses we would do them the favor of increasing their clientele, not ours.
Very rare piece of absolute beauty, will be sold only with insured shipping. The cost of 50% of the insurance has already been calculated in the requested shipping cost, while the second half will remain at our expense.
The shipment will be normal, this to avoid onerous import taxes for the buyer. Insurance is taken out between us and the insurance company, without appearing on the shipment.
ABSOLUTELY NOT TO BE MISSED !!

    OUR SHIPMENTS:
    .
    ..
    O
ur shipments cost a little more than the average, but they are all
shipments with professional packaging. Double box with a lot of bubble wrap around the object and a lot of soft material in the large cavities on all sides between the two boxes. This means that the package is much larger and heavier and therefore the cost of shipping increases, not to mention all the work necessary to carry out a similar packaging and the cost of the various materials used.
    .
For particularly delicate and/or expensive items, it is mandatory to participate in 50% of the insurance cost, therefore half of 3% of the amount spent, including the shipping cost.
THE INSURANCE WILL BE STIPULATED BETWEEN ME AND THE INSURANCE COMPANY, WITHOUT APPEARING IN THE SHIPMENT.
THIS TO AVOID FOR THE BUYER HEAVY TAXES ON OBJECT ARRIVAL.
    .
With our packaging it is practically impossible for the object to be damaged without the external box not being heavily damaged, therefore, in the rare case that the object arrives damaged, you must keep the box and send us photos of the damaged part to obtain the refund from insurance.
