Antique Victorian Bavarian Marx & Gutherz of Carlsbad Austria Heavy Porcelain 18” Platter & Large Tureen Set
Fabulous hand painted over transfer pattern European set enhanced with pale pink floral designs. The set is very thick and heavy. There are some typical minor firing flaws as expected of pieces from this era.
The platter measures almost 18” long by almost 14” wide and the tureen measures almost 15” wide by about 8”, the height is 7”. There is a chip in the underside of the lid of the Tureen as shown, this is not visible from the outside.
