You are bidding on an ANTIQUE VICTORIA CARLSBAD AUSTRIA VTO70 PORCELAIN 12" OVAL COVERED VEGETABLE BOWL.
Beautiful 2 pc Antique Victoria Carlsbad Austria 12" Oval Covered Vegetable Bowl is in Excellent condition considering its age. No chips, cracks, nicks, crazing or repairs. Some gilt has worn off the handles as shown.
Made in Carlsbad, Austria by the Victorian Porcelain Factory between 1900-1915.
Featuring a lovely pattern of Pink Roses, Green Leaves and Gold Trim on a White Porcelain background. Replacement.com lists this pattern as VTO70. Discontinued.
Lid has softly scalloped rim and fits securely on bowl. Inside lid are 3 digits..Aq4? 494? See pic #6.
Bowl has scalloped rim around bottom and Fully Hallmarked with Hallmark that reads: Victoria Carlsbad Austria with an Eagle in a blue oval shape. Also 3 digits...B19? see pic#10. And directly below the Hallmark (at the rim) is the initial/letter "H".
Approx measurements: With lid on. 12" L x 7-3/8" W x 5" H (bowl is 2-1/2" D without lid)
In this pattern & in such excellent condition, this is a hard to find Victoria Carlsbad Austria Covered Vegetable Bowl.
