This item is a beautiful antique side plate or dish signed on the bottom by Marx & Gutherz Carlsbad.
Also on the bottom are hand painted numbers below the maker's mark that reads, "2409 122" as pictured.
This beautiful side plate is in the shape of a scallop shell with hand painted pink floral detail.
The measurements are 6-3/4" long x 4-1/4" wide x 7/8" tall.
The porcelain is white with a clear glaze.
We are estimating this piece is from the 1880's.
