ANTIQUE LS&S Carlsbad Austria Porcelain Handled Cake Plate-Dish 9-3/4", Gold Rim.
This beautifully decorated antique plate is white with blue flowers and a spattering of tiny yellow flowers.  It has a fancy scalloped edging with gold gilding and handles.  It is in great condition with no visible usage/utensil marks, scratches, chips, fleabite marks or cracks, though the gold gilding does have some wear (please see photos).
The maker’s mark on the backside says:  “LS&S Carlsbad Austria” (in red).  Research suggests this is the 1st maker’s mark and dates back to 1891 to 1917.  There is also a number next to the maker’s mark of 2563 and a ‘y’ under the number.
