The whimsical Iris Fairy Figure from Daum is crafted using their signature pate-de-cristal method in a beautiful combination of soft pastel colors. Fairy on a Swing. Dimensions : Hauteur : 14 cm Longueur : 15,2 cm Largeur : 15,2 cm Pate-de-cristal is accomplished my making a negative mold of the artists original sculpture then introducing fragments of colored crystal. The mold is then fired for at least 10 days and then broken, revealing the pate-de-cristal sculpture. Since each mold is broken, every piece of Daum is truly a one-of-a-kind work of art. The distinctive bubbles seen in each piece are completely normal and are referred to as a champagne effect.
The Daum Creative Workshop has transcribed Fairy Iris's poetic world on this magnificent soft pastel shaded vase. Fairy Iris is depicted sitting on her swing over a pond. She stretches her feet to reach for a heart floating on the surface of the pond, creating thus ripples depicted as internal and external etching. The vase is made of Crystal in Blue, Green and Amber colors with Daum engraving on the bottom. The height of this vase is 140mm. Small vase comes with votive and scented candle as shown Made in France!
